Cheap Gershwin Theater Tickets

Named after the legendary American music composer, George Gershwin, this New York City theater was a relatively inexpensive venue to build. Constructed on the same ground as the former Capitol Theater, Gershwin offers a limited seating capacity of under two-thousand seats. Opening in 1972, it was known as the 'Uris Theater'. In the 1970s it was a booming location for musical acts - especially jazz performances. Today, the venue is dedicated to Broadway and theater-style performances and shows. Over the course of its operation, it has featured Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby, and shows like Annie, Singin' in the Rain, Riverdance, and Wicked opened here in 2003.
