The HOB is one of the largest venue-chains in the country. The first one opened in Cambridge, Massachusetts in 1992. Since then, HOB has expanded it's locations to Dallas, Florida, Chicago, Las Vegas, California, and several other areas across the United States. The entertainment corporation known as 'Live Nation' acquired the HOB franchise in 2006 in one of history's largest multi-venue sales. Traditionally known for blues and folk music, HOB welcomes bands of all genres and is now one of the premiere locations for major musical artists to perform in the nation. Actor / Celebrity Dan Aykroyd was one of the initial investors of the franchise.
