The multiple Tony-award winning act is based on the 1960's band, The Four Seasons. The musical is one of the most-attended in all of modern theater. Characters are based on the Four Seasons band members: Frankie Valli, Tommy Devito, Bob Gaudio, and Nick Massi. The day after the show's first premiere, they sold close to half a million dollars in advanced ticket sales. After the San Francisco opening, the show began to tour nationwide and eventually arrived at the doorsteps of New York's Broadway in 2005. The musical focuses on the 'Four Seasons'' rise to fame and stardom singing classic 1960s music with some added original compositions.
