NASCAR (National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing) is the most popular professional motorsports event in the nation. Ever since the invention of the automobile, Americans have been infatuated with auto racing competitions. The official NASCAR sport was founded in early 1948 (at Daytona Beach) by William France. The sport, as we know it today, came to fruition at the start of the 1970s era - when advertisers surged to advertise on the outside of the racing cars.
