This New Jersey native is most recognized for his folk band 'Simon and Garfunkel'. As a multi-talented pianist, guitarist, and singer, Paul met (and began performing) with Art Garfunkel very early in high school. Both these lifelong friends attended separate colleges. Before hitting it big with Art, Paul began is musical success with various artists including Marty Cooper, Bobby Susser, and Carole King. Before his mainstream success in 1964, Simon had produced a number of hit singles for a bunch of then-popular '60s bands. Once Art and Paul reunited, they both shared the song-writing responsibilities and have had several number one complete albums in the United States.
